Other scenes such as Marlin's encounter with the angler fish and Dory's time caught in the fishing net are distinctly less frightening than they come across in the film. The app consists of a story book and several other activities, however it is only the story that has really captured my son’s attention he now insists on listening to it being read aloud at least twice a day.One thing my husband and I both noticed is that the book downplays most of the peril in the film, in fact the traumatising opening scene with Nemo's mother Coral is notable purely by its absence. Since it arrived in our home, the Nemo app has become a firm favourite of his.
